Dialogos is specialised in multimedia & telecoms.

Dialogos, Nea Media undertakes since 1988 research, studies and development of multimedia interactive applications in the fields of training, tourism, local authorities, publishing and graphic arts.

 

Pioneer in Greece since 1988


DIALOGOS has very yearly produced:

  • ·  the first multimedia training application in Greek -1988
  • ·  a server and terminal emulators of the Greek adaptation of the French Minitel-1989
  • ·  Creative Workshops on "Art and Computers" in collaboration with Xenakis Centre-1991

 

DIALOGOS has been a pioneer in the use of Information Technologies in Greece:

  • ·  amongst the first 100 users of PSDN in Greece -1989
  • ·  amongst the first 100 users of ISDN in Greece-1996
  • ·  amongst the first 100 Greek servers using Internet-1995
  • ·  the first Internet Cafe in Greece-1995

 

Active in European Partnerships since 1988


Recent European contracts of DIALOGOS include:

  • Studies for the European Parliament (STOA) on Cultural Diversity and Information Society
  • Evaluation of e-learning proposals for recent Minerva and Elearn Calls of the European Commission
  • ENERGIA project (setting co-operation priorities between EU and Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Poland, Romania, Russia and Slovakia  in the field of Information Technology)
  • AGORA project (one of the 7 partners setting an European network of 35 Regional Centres of teleservices for SMEs with ATOS –FR-and BBC – UK between the other main partners),
  • SAFETYNET project(developing a e-learning system for the staff of European maritime companies and Harbours - Le Havre, Rotterdam, P&O, STATOIL)



Since its creation the company has participated to several programmes co-financed by the European Commission:
